Orange Sorghum

Sweet sorghum is a type of sorghum that accumulates free sugars in its stalk much like sugarcane. These readily available sugars can be converted to liquid biofuels and bio-based products using existing commercial technologies.

In commercial-scale trials in Brazil this year, Blade hybrids were grown, harvested, transported and processed in ethanol using existing sugarcane equipment. In the U.S., our high-yielding Durasweet™ hybrids are available for commercial-scale trials. Contact Blade for purchase and supply information.
